Soon i will be setting up my first saltwater 55 gallon and i was wondering about blennies ive heard they need plenty of live rock to feed on but will they eat anything else. Also wat is their aclimation time

Acclimation time should be about 3 hours (drip). My lownmower blennie eats stuff off the rocks/glass. I also supplement him with formula 2 algea cubes.

Your welcome. I also soak my fish food in liquid vitamin supplements for improved health. Was just feeding them regular dry pellets and they developed health issued.
Now I always soak their food in the supplements and they did a great turn around....nice and healthy.

whats the name of the supplements that you use. i am looking to start adding some to my food but dont know what type to use.

I have a Midas Blenny, and I feed him a combination of the following:
Mysis Shrimp
Emerald Entree
Formula Two Flakes/Pellets
Cyclopeeze Flakes
Spectrum Pellets
He goes nuts for all of them, and I'd imagine most Blennies would, too.

Do y'all break up your formula 2 cubes or just drop them in there whole? (after soaking, of course)

thaw and rinse with tank water and break it up with your finger.
