Blennies

Im looking to had some personality to my tank and Ive heard that blennies are the best way to do so. Does anyone have a type of Blennie they would recommend? Im looking for something really active and colorful but open to all suggestions including other fish. Thanks for the help

Hi,
If you have algae (and most do)....a lawn mower blenny is hands down the most active and entertaining of the blenny clan..IMO They will sit on the rocks like a toad, and look at you, they do a great job of making sure the alge doesn't get out of hand as well. They look like they are diamond studded.
A yellow watchmen goby is a nice colorful fish...not a blenny, but they are pretty cool.

I just got a Midas blenny. He's pretty sweet. Even spends about half his time in the water column swimming w my clowns.

what sorta problems do you have with yours? The only problem I've read about them is that they tend to take the leap of faith haha

He likes pulling snails out of their shells and munching on them, but no one else I've talked to has ever seen or heard of this.
