"blind eye"

sea biscuit

Hey Folks,
I fed my Brazilian Seahorses this a.m. and noticed my female acting a bit strange...she ussually goes for the ghost shrimp as soon as I put them in the tank and she is fast about it....
This morning the shrimp where floating by her and she was not reacting ....she seemed to be using her snout to feel her way to the shrimp....
I thought it looked like she was blind or something, so I got my glasses on and sure enough her right eye has a cloudy film over it.
Her left eye is fine. HELP. Any body have any experience with this? Anyone have any advise about how to help her...These seahorses are like my "babies" ...Love them!
thanks in advance.... Andrea

I am sorry, I cant really tell you how to treat, but can you tell us about your tank - Do you have a QT, I would at least try and get it into Qt and lower the temp to about 68 degrees.
It could be bacterial and may require some medications.
Try googleing Seahorse medications there are a couple of sites at the top that might help.
