Blocking the light?

:notsure: I have a 30 gallon tank and I just bought a 130w pc light. We'll I was wondering if anyones knows if I should put the light on the tank itself or the legs it came with? Also if anyones knows if a glass top would block the light, or if thats a good idea. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!........Thanks!

I would set pc lights on the tank, and no, a glass hood won't block light. Glass hoods are a great way to go.

Hope this helps. Also, are you going to keep corals or anemones?

i have adjustable mounting legs on my 130w, i really like them. its a huge pain to keep moving the lights and the hood off the tank everytime you need to stick ur hands in....but glass hoods also are good anti-evap
