blood shrimp

I have a blood shrimp who has shredded its shell,I just wondered why they do this?

they get to big for their exoskeleton and they get tight in it so they have to shed it. its how they grow. bo

Are you asking if you can get a picasso trigger with your shrimp? Not unless you want to feed your picasso one expensive shrimp dinner!

just did (dinner) got it for my wifes tank had picasso for 1 hour we just turned the light off and was watching when he attacked i could not watch now wife wants to kill me .
going to try and take him back tommorrow

Sorry to hear of Sebastian's unfortunate demise.
I lost a cleaner shrimp once in much the same manner after putting a flame hawk in the tank. Guy at the LFS said they'd be fine together... which is why I don't go there anymore!

Hawks, Triggers, Puffers, most definetly will eat any shrimps available. Normally if the fish can get it in its mouth it will eat it.
