Hi, this is my first time posting here and I am wondering if anyone knows of blue anemones that are available for purchase. As a Met and a Knick fan, I think it would be pretty cool to watch my True Perc Clowns host a blue anemone. Thanks!

The only one I can think of would be a Haddoni (Carpet). Nearly all of the hobbiests I have known that keep Haddoni have had fish eaten by the Anemone. Just something to think about.

The only blue anemone I ve seen is a carpet anemone. Be carefull a friend of mine has a green carpet and it has eaten over $300 in fish. Read up on them as with anything else before you buy. Good luck and share pics when you get one : )

Well in the tank now I currently have 2 True Perc Clowns who don't share the BTA (the Big Girl commands that little area), one bi-color Blenney, one six-line wrasse, one orange anthias, and one cleaner wrasse. Other than the clowns, what are the chances a carpet would eat the others? The cleaner usually hangs around the top of the tank, the six-line goes in and out of the rocks, the Blenney hangs inside of one rock, and the anthias is in the same area as the six-line. What are the chances they would get nabbed if I were to buy a carpet?

My experience is that the chances are 100% that one of them will be nabbed. That is only based on the fact that everyone I have ever known that had a Haddoni has had it eat a fish.
I'm pretty sure that someone out there has a Carpet that has not eaten any of their fish, I'm just not aware of them.
* edit * By the way, the Blue Haddoni I have seen are STUNNINGLY gorgeous.

Yeah :/ Haddoni get really big. They actually can be kept in a medium sized tank like a 45 but it's a lot more effort.
