a freind of mine is getting out of the hobby for a while and he has a small blue angle that i can have. i know these things get big and should be kept in larger tanks but it is only the size of a quarter, just wondering if it would ok to put it in my 30gal reef for the time being?

he just said its a blue angle, its dosnt seem to bother any of his corals. it has a yellow nose and tail and a little on its belly. the rest is blue with light blue strips on it

there are blue angels and it looks similair to the queens, secondly it will nip at corals and a 30gal is way to small.

Yes, there is Blue Angel, people often get them confused because they look almost identical. But there is a difference, the 2nd bar on the Queen is curved, where on the Blue it's striaght.

Try looking through the pics of angels for sale on this site.
I'm guessing it's one of the large species of angel. In that case, it is neither reef-safe nor is it an appropriate fish for a 30g.
