blue dot jawfish?

any body have a blue dot jawfish. i have read up on these but want some first hand knowledge. what do you feed it, speacial req., anything. thanks

Sorry, I have not owned one as yet. Bluespotted jawfish is a beautiful fish. But I think it's a bit pricey for a small fish. Maybe because it's hard to catch or indigenous in only few reef areas. I don't know. I saw one at anchofish for 65 bucks!

i picked one up about two weeks ago for 49.00. this fish reminds me of a puppy dog, it loves to stare back at you and tries to mimic you.

I've seen them at a LPS going for $99. what are the scpecial requirments for these guys anyways. I'd also like that $49 source if you dont mind. drober41@csc.com

I have one and think that these guys are the coolest fish around. Not to mention have great personalities. Mine loves to burrow, and has like 3 or 4 holes all over the sandbed. he will come all th eway out of his cave, to feed but is for the most part a very shy fish!

are they hard to keep? I have a friend that has one but he has had tanks for 20 years. It is a really cool fish he has all of his "holes out of his hood covered with net. Blue jaws like to jump.
