I'm going add some blue/green chromis to my 75 gallon reef tank. Any suggestions on how many I should add? I currently have four other fish in the tank that range from small to large.

Normal acclimation, very peaceful fish, do great in shoals, never resting, constantly moving fish. My saddleback clown tends to bug him a little though, excellent eater, very hardy, and under the right conditions can live 10yrs+, amazing!

Thanks. I think I will get 5 as well. They are small and should not make too much of an impact.

I bought three and now have a pair. Don't know what would happen if you bought 5 or 7 though. Mine don't even stay together, they did at theLFS but as soon as I got them home they didn't.

Yep, odd numbers do best, they're schooling fish. Even numbers result in them going into pairing off type behaviors. Being a little more specific on the tank mates would help, but IMO 5 is cool. If you oe dies and you end up with an even number just watch them. Most of the time if things are gonna go wrong it will happen as soon as they realise theres an even number. Even as soon as one looks sick the decide who to kill off next. It's like "Bob: Gee Bill Joe looks sick. Bill: Lets kill his wife. Bob: Yeah, otherwise the teams for charades will be ruined". See "Desperate Chromis's" this fall on NBC. ***)
