I want to put a blue hippo into a 75, on another site it says the minimum size of the tank for a hippo is 70 gallons but I wanted to see what you guys think. I know a 75 is not ideal but will he be happy?

The "tang Police" may not agree...but I think it is possible. If the tank is not heavily stocked and the filtration is good...they do need room to roam and when fully grown it will be crowded...but a 75 could be workable. I kept mine in a 55 for just over a year. It now has a 100 to play in and I anticipate it'll be there for a few years at least.
Beware the "tang police"...

I thought as long as you had a 4' tank than one tang was ok unless you got one that got huge. I only have a medium clown, firefish and a 1" clown goby in the 75 so its extremely lightly stocked now. I have a Euroreef ES5-2 and 120lb of LR.
