Blue Hippo Tang white spots???

my dad has a Blue Hippo and he just did a water change on sunday and today he has white spots on him... any idea???? please help

unfortunately sounds like ICK, HIPPOS get it really easily! look into hypo salinity and quarantine, do a search and post this in the disease and treatment thread as well.

I had that problem with my blue hippo tang, I started to use Kent Marine Garlic, I add 2 drops to the food before I feed them, and I have never had a problem since. He has been Ich free for about 8 months.

get some skunk shrimp. 1 per 20 gallons usually gets the job done. They can clean off ick easily. And are u sure it is ick? ick are tiny tiny white dots. I thought 1 of my fish had ick but it turned out to be bubbles stuck on to him. Ick tends to grow on the fins first i believe, so before you do quarantine be sure its ick.
