Blue Hippo Tang

Now that i got your attation...
Today i have just picked up a blue hippo tang and i noticed that it has a tiny bit of ick on it. I have dripped it than placed it into my main. I wasnt at all sure about going on with it. Than I also rememberd my coral beauty (CB). when i picked up my CB it also had a little ick on it as well and one of my best boddies in the tank (cleaner shrimp) made sure the ick didnt spread or get onto my other fish. So im strongly hoping that it does me that favour once more. Come on lil cleaner dude i need your assitance once more

youre placing an awful lot trust in your cleaner shrimp :nervous: My hippo developed Ich shortly after being introduced to my display. I was lucky enopugh to catch it early and QT him till he was better. Fortunatly the Ich didnt spread to any other fish in the tank

Day 2.
Man i love my cleaner shrimp. all my other fish r doing just well and my hippo has next to nothing left on him. I dont know what it is? but this shrimp is a hero in my book. My brother gave me a coal tang a while back and it brought ick into my tank. At that time i only had a damsil, clown and a green chrom. when i noticed
the breakout i didnt know what to do. i didnt have any sufficent funds to start a QT so i asked a realy good friend of mine what to do. he told me to go with him to the LFS he worked at. Now when we got there he broght me to 1 of 3 tanks holding Blood shrimp, cleaner shrimp and coral banded shrimp. Then he told me to pay very close attation and to stick my finger in the water. Not even 2 secs one of the cleaners came rihgt up to my finger and just befor it got onto it he was caught. My buddie turns around to me saying DUDE i got a very good feeling about this guy. and believe it or not it saved my fish. The coal tang didnt make it. it was too late to save it, but i still left in there for a day so Both my emrald and my shrimp to at least have something to munch on. I didnt hessitate to take it out afterwards. Thats why i really depend on it so much hes been doing a teriffic job for me and the others( :happyfish :happyfish ) since.
