can a blue jaw trigger live with a marine betta and a volitan lionfish. i heard that the triggers like to nip at long fins. and i thought they also nip at lionfish. i thought the blue jaw trigger where the least aggressive triggers and that they wont bother the lion or the marine betta.

If keeping a lion and you want a trigger this is a pretty easy going trigger, and one I would recommend, not as risky as other species. All of the Xanthichthys Species are pretty easy going.
What size tank do you have?
Triggers are fast simmers, messy eaters that produce quite a bit of waste, this needs to be taken into consideration before adding this fish.

i have a 125 with a wet dry that can handle 210 gallons so that shouldnt be a problem with the bio load

The betta is a shy fish and a slow eater that might, unfortunately, be out done for food by the trigger and lion. I personally wouldn't keep them together, but you're correct when you say the blue jaw is one of the safer triggers to keep with a lion.

my marine betta is actually an aggressive eater and he eats frozen and he is the first one to eat before any of the other fish including the lion.
