Blue LEDs

i was thinking of getting like 24 blue LEDs from this one site and using them for lunar light things, they let you get as many samples as you want

interesting but the led's are not very bright. Those look to be rated at 550 luminous intensity while rad shacks are 2600.

i found another site that will sell them to me, they seem to be very good ones, i dont know what is better, 30 degrees of site, but 1150 mcds or 15 degrees and 5500.

the wider the view angle the less it will look like a blue spot in your tank. If you check the auction site you can get a pretty good deal on them.

ima try to get them from my dad's work, mattel. hopefully he can get some big angle ones
