I recently purchased some Blue Leg Hermits. They were really small. The shells are on average 3/4 of an inch. The question is, how rapidly do these grow and how often do they change "houses"

depending on what they eat!!!! Be sure to have plenty of shells for them to make into new HOMES...

I have about 20 little ones every day I'll see them run out into another shell or rock to hide. They are fast and funny looking.They have a clear body with blue legs it's halarious.I have a small one about the size of a nail on your pinky finger trying to drag around a shell about a 1" long he doesn't get very far.You have to watch carefully they can hide in the crushed coral on the bottom, untill they can run to another shell.Depending on how much algae you have on bottom they will grow pretty good.
