Blue leg Hermits

I was wondering, if it would be ok to get about 100 blue leg hermit crabs to feed my clown trigger, huma huma, & blue dot puffer. I always see a guy on ---- selling them. I figured I could get a 100 of them, & what didn't get eaten, could do some good finding the uneaten food in the tank, & the rest will help wear down my fishes teeth. How would I intraduce them into the tank? Do I QT them, Fresh water dip them??? What special needs, would the survivors have???
Tank set = 125g 6'x18"x22"H 3 1/2" clown trigger, 3" huma huma, 3" blue dot puffer, 4" purple tang, 4" yellow tang, & a 2" blue damsel, who thinks he's tuff, chassing my newly intraduced clown trigger, Can't wait to see the end of that outcome. Some LR, running 2 wet drys, emperer 400 bio wheel, 18w dubble helix uv, priz pro skimer, & a POS cpr skimmer, that doesn't do anything but waste electricity:mad:

Goto your lfs and buy some ghost shrimp. Way cheaper and will scoot around in the tank until eaten by the triggers....
ORRRR.....
Buy 100 hermits off ---- and wish 'em good luck as you toss them in!
No QT, just toss 'em.

If you want to waste that many hermits i'm sure they will be eaten in time. I would rather hear of you putting them to good use and just buying some frozen food or not buying them at all and just using the money to purchase some good frozen.

everyone says don't feed fresh water feeders
I think they are talking about gupies and goldfish. I dont see something wrong w/ ghost shrimps except they wont last long in sw

Ghost shrimp are OK to feed but frozen is better. Also it gets to be a hassle trying to keep lots of ghost shrimp alive if you dont want to run and buy some every week. I agree... Hermits are a waste of money and they dont really get much food from them. The only good thing about hermits is that they will help keep puffers beaks trimmed down.
