blue legs eating star polyps?

My blue leg crabs seem to spend alot of time around my green star polyps. I never actually see them eat them, but they are picking right next to them. My polyps just started spreading when i upgraded my lighting and i don't want them damaged. Has anyone caught their blue legs munching on them before?
thanks,

They are probly not eating them they are just picking off algae. BUT if you do see them actually eating them then you should start getting worried. But chances are that they are just cleaning them.

I agree...my hermits(blue and red) are always marching here and there....they also pick around all my polyps munching at algae...I've never had a problem with them doing any damage though

Blue legs can be very destructive. I have seen some chowing on a blue maxima clam at a fish store. Watch them carefully.

Mine do the same thing. My scarlet's even get on top of the polyp's and picking the stuff off. They have never hurt them though so I would not worry.
