I got this blue linka a couple weeks ago and acclimated over 5 hours but its not doing well. Anything I can do to help it? Will it recover or is it a goner?

Acclimation stress can take up to a month to resolve. As long as the degeneration is only on the arms and the central disc is okay, the star may recover.
These sea stars are difficult to keep. You should have a mature tank (>6 months old) and at least 100 pounds of live rock. As far as I know, no one seems to know what they eat so it is difficult to try to supplement their diet.

It is suffering from osmotic shock. From what I have heard, stars with osmotic shock will die. Sorry
Linkias eat the bacterial film algea on the rocks. Ophiura knows more about this though.
