I dont think anyone knows, sorry. I do know they are tricky to keep in captivity and so best in a mature system. Good luck

Well I didn't have the exact numbers and rather then guess I sent an e-mail. Here is the response I got from Ron Shimek.

Hi,
Sorry not to have replied sooner.

Linckia laevigata.
Darned if I know, for small ones, about an inch or so in diameter, it could
be quite considerable, perhaps doubling size in a year.
Larger ones, adults over 3" probably could add about 1/2" to 1" in diameter
in a year.
Full grown ones, about 8-10 in diameter and bigger, probably grow very
slowly.
Cheers, Ron

I ahd a place here in central Indiana that propagates corals that they have a hard time keeping them alive more than a week. Living and thriving would be great let alone growth

I love the color so I purchased on that seemed to be in good condition and he tooled around my tank but made his way to the top and stayed there. he died after about a month at the top of the tank. it was so bizarre. after he died, he just stayed there. go figure. I was sad to see him go. My pet store has had one in there tank for several months and it still looks good.
