Blue ribbon eel...

I want to put a blue ribbon eel in my reef tank... I know they are hard to get eating, but I have heard that they have become easier to find feeding solutions for since last time I had one.. 8 years ago :)
Any thoughts?????? I just want to know
a) Can they be kept in the reef
b) What about that eating thing...
Thanks in advance!!

im not sure about one in a reef but i got lucky and had one that ate silversides from a feeding stick until he jumped out of the tank :( but it was a long time ago i would love to have another if they are ok in a reef though
good luck they are great fish

My husband was really wanting a blue ribbon eel so we checked into it and there was not one good thing said about mixing them in a reef. The first thing is the feeding thing, they need to be fed manually with thongs or something on those lines. Next the waste amount is higher since they are bigger and also they eat the cleaner crew or pick on them (I'm not really sure, I just know its not good). Good luck with what you decide and if you find a way of keeping them and not having any problems let us know, my husband would be a happy guy!!
