Was thinking about getting one of these, but haven't ever met anyone that actually has one. Anyone have any pics or knowledge about them? Do share!
Thanks!

someone correct me if im wrong but a kole tang is a kole tang . Some just have juvenille coloration(light blue, or blue spotted) and then at maturity they go deeper purple with yellow eyes.
as far as them i have one, he is a VORACIOUS algae eater, def. a good pick he keeps the tank very well maintained !! not aggressive at all, very quick!
mine actually doesnt eat flake dfood, or pellets or anythign. Just a;age off my rocks and glass

Im sort of confused by the COMMON name as well. The YellowEye Kole dose have a lighter/greenish color morph form thats found in the Indian Ocean. Im not sure if it has blue spots though. The TwoSpot or BlueEye dose have sort of blue spots and is of the same Genus. Theres also a Bluespot Naso sp.

if you get a kole tang don't get another tang of the same genus .. like the chevron .. the kole will pick on it .. but psusocr1 is right .. and I also have one .. he's pretty small though .. and he has blue spots and blue stripes .. but that's just becuase he's from the red sea .. you can get ones that aren't from the red sea .. but they look more yellowish ..

They have them listed under the fish section of this website as "blue spotted kole tang" so I figured that they were a different fish.
Thx for the one pic so far!
