Blue tang question

Hey guys
I'm getting back into the hobby after a 4 year break. I had a question regarding the blue regal tang. I am getting a 100 gallon, (72" 18" 18"). Will this be enough to house this fish for the long term ?
Thanks
Mike

Normally with a 100G, I'd say no, but you're doing a 100G long, and I think it might be alright. Of course, all will depend on what else you house it with and how rock work is done. A 100G long that is packed with rock work just won't work.

I have my rockwork built in the center so my 5" Bue Hippo tang can swim around the 90g (4 foot) tank. This gives him 8 feet of infinity to swim. I got the fish when it was very tiny (pinky fingernail size) ..I had it in a 55g and then a 75g and now for the last 4.5 years in the 90g. So if you build your rockwork in the center of your 72" tank (6 foot) giving your fish 12 feet of infinity to swim...then I'm answering your question with a yes.
