No i dont quarantine my fish. I've had all them for 2-8 months
This makes me really suspect that it is ich in your tank and your fish are healthy enough to usually fight it off.

hippo's are PRONE to it.
If it gets really really bad, then treat it.
But if it doesn't, don't try to treat it because your hippo appears healthy enough to fight it off.
I've had my hippo have ich before, and I've never treated it, and my hippo is perfectly healthy.

I saw a bit of everything really, amazing corals too. i saw a few tangs, angel fish and clown fish, and a heap i have no clue what they were called, but all so beautiful! my favourite would have to be the clown fish though, so cute. im going again in november
