Just curious if anyone elses Hippo Tang 'hides' as much as mine does. When I have a live one in the tank, it seems to hide in the live rock quite a bit.

In the beginning, mine hides when I approach. It gradually got used to me and does not mind my presence anymore. Guess when they get to know you, they will lose their shyness.

LOL falcon. I really feel lucky with my hippo. When I got it, it was a little bigger than a quarter and with fins nipped and everything. I thought it would not last because it just didn't look right. I did not have the chance to tell the owner to change it because he was so busy. I am glad I didn't. It's been almost a year now and it's about 4 inches and doing a-OK
