Blue throat Trigger Help

I got a blue throat trig. on Sunday, and today(Monday) I tried feeding him Silversides, Scallops, Formula One, and Nori and he would not accept any of them.......
He still looks pretty beefy and not skinny at all, and he's hiding a lot I guess he's still trying to adjust to the environment.
Do you guys have any tips on how to make him eat? How long should I wait before I start worrying?

give it a day or two try soaking the food in a garlic adative

I agree with El Guapo, unfortunately Blue Throats are known for being very shy upon introduction....Give him time, some food variety and garlic.

I agree with both of the above. Its way to early to worry, and the nori isn't going to interest him at all.

is brine shrimp a good idea ?

give him a couple days they are really shy when first introduced. feed krill silversides brine basically anything meaty. he will eventually eat the nori. mine goes crazy when i put the nori in all my fish love it.

He's already eating, eating mysis currently until I know what other foods he likes.
He's also already coming out and playing around with the Kole Tang. He also grazes the sand looking for stuff to stuff his mouth with.

Good! With most triggers; once they start eating something, they'll soon eat anything.

Just got mine today hes pretty shy hiding behind rocks and in caves seems to act like a blue hippo tang playing dead lying on its side swirling its yellow tail ...how long until he gets comfertable and starts swimming and eating normally ?

I think you'd get some help if you started a new thread explained your individual situation. Its difficult to talk about two fish on the same post.
