Is the blue throat trigger good in a reef? I hear that they make a quick meal of shrimps and crabs. How about one that is 4". Do they do it when they are small?

any trigger will make a meal of shrimps. 4" is about when triggers will start to become aggressive. if it is possible to accomplish, however, a blue throat might be your best bet.

I had a Male and female blue throat in my 180, about 6" each. Never harmed a thing, shrimp, snails, etc... and quite timid...

Do these guys usually make a meal out of the shrimp and crabs in the tank? Or is that a rare thing in the aquarium?
