blue throat trigger in reefs?

anyone have any experience with this? the LFS where i have store credit has a smaller one in and my fiance absolutely loves him..i do not want anything in my tank wrecked..any advice would be appreicated. thanks.

blue throats are known to be the most reef safe trigger, but im not sure if i would trust a large one but they shouldnt eat anything

mine does not bother my corals (softies) but she is still small. Make sure you have a top on your tank my last one jummp out!!! Also mine is in a 80 gal and will out grow it in a year or 2 or if she starts to mess with other fish or corals.
One more thing ..small shrimp will not last that long with a blue jaw!

yeah i have seen many in a reef tank....although people say picassos triggers are the biggest baby they have ever seen.....
what it comes down to is that triggers are triggers and always will be
so yes they can be in a reef and many will do well....but there will be the black sheep of the family and can be a terror in a reef...
not trying to discurage you from purchasing one.....I hope this helps
