It probally has an eye infection. move it to another tank so it does not contaimanate other fish. It probally will die, but at best it will lose its eye.

The best thing to do is to NOT Move it. Those things are usually not easily transferable to other fish and will eventually go away if you keep your water prams clean and do water changes. Moving it will make it worse than leaving it alone.

+1, you try and catch him it is only gonna stress it out and make it worse, keep up with your water params and soak your food in garlic, I use the GVH food soak.
