BlueBlue/Green Chromis

I have seen chromis listed under the names blue chromis, and blue green chromis... are these one in the same or 2 different fish?

I think the blue is probably the deep blue one and the blue/green is the light green one.

I know what the blue one is, also a choice for the tank. I got the thread title wrong, I meant to be asking the difference between blue-green and green. Names seem to be used interchangably.

If listed properly they are different. Blue chromis are a deep blue like Alyssia said. Green Chromis are a light green color and Blue/Green Chromis are a light blue.
I have 4 green chromis and 3 blue/green chromis in my 55 and they are hard to tell apart, but if you look closely you can tell. Just letting you know the color difference isn't all that much so they are often listed as the same fish, but i was told as they get older the color becomes more aparent.

Good info. So they have the same temperament also? I wanted to get the ones that werent territorial

they get along w/ everything else i have. They are great fish and are always in the open except at night when they get into the smallest holes to sleep
