Got my newest member of the family in today and he is doing very well. Acclimated for 2 hrs. and then into the QT. Left him with the lights off for
3 hrs. When I turned the lights on I tried feeding him some Mysis soaked in garlic and he ate every bit of it. So far he is not shy and does not hide when I go to the aquarium. Lets hope these are all good signs! Couple of pics attached.

Thank you all for the responses, he is doing great, will not hardly even go in the PVC - I guess he likes to be out for me to talk to him!

what are you putting him in with? what sized tank?

That is a good sign that he is out and eating. He looks healthy from the pictures. Only time in the QT will tell. Very beautiful fish!! Best of luck.

He will be going in a 125g with a 4-1/2" Sargassum Trigger and a 6" Magnificent Foxface.

established angels are very hardy fish. looks in great shape. How big is he?

He is about 5-1/2".
