Bluelines behavior that results in colors....

In my experiance with the blue line triggerfish, there original colors are a darki purple color, and yellow stripes. But whenever the blueline gets angry his dark purple stripes become neon blue stripes. But last night, I witnessed beautiful colors, the niger and him got in a little fight. The niger chased it, and what I believe is that the blueline became scared, and that made him turn his colors to a beautiful neon purple, with neon red stripes. It was beautiful, I wish you guys could of seen it. I didn't have a camera on me so I couldn't take the pics. But I got a pic of the blue line trigger with the neon blue stripes with yellow stripes. The pic is on my web site (in my signature) to see the pic go on my homepage, click on bluelines color emotion, and then look at the pics. I got a normal color, and the beautful color. Check it out.

my clowntrigger changes shades when it,s feeding time he gets real bright yellow and when the eel or hum hum come close he turns dark

The blueline trig we used to have at my LFS did this also. There was a porkfish about 2 inches bigger than him which would speed around the tank and then the trigger would get bright coloration.

my undulate changes colors too. i put a mirror up to the tank and he went straight ot his reflection and his orange stripes got really really bright and solid. the green turned really dark with the orange just flaring out. normaly his green has traces of baby blue and purple. once he saw his reflection all you can see is the orange stripes.
