Lately when i look at my rocks some of them have a tremendous amount of poop err...detritus on them. Now I am told that red leg hermits and serpent stars are good for this problem....Is this true and what other cleanup guys specialize or are good at this.

I would also recommend feeding a little less if you have piles of the stuff all over the place.

by the way...
as far as siphoning i don't do that...I know there are 2 sides of the water change story...but belive it or not, I haven't done a water change in over a year and a half. Corals are beautiful and growing...Fish Have never been sick and are beautifully colored and system hasn't had so much as a minor crash. I got the idea of no water changes from my old boss, who hadn't changed his water for like 3 years. Anyway it's just a detritus problem im having. Just trying to figure a good clean up crew.
