Bobbit worms (aka Eunicids) Anyone familiar with 'em?

I have discovered a "bobbit worm", or "Eunicid" in my tank. He lives in one of my pieces of live rock, and is feasting on my snails and hermits if they get near his lair. I don't really mind this so much, cause he seems to be sticking to them, and not going after my fish or other critters. I was able to coax him into eating some frozen squid too and got a good look at him.
He is about 4-5 inches long (i am guessin,as it has never come all the way out) anyway, i have been trying to find information on them, and have not found much, although i DID read that they have been known to eat coraline algae. does anyone here have these in their tank, know any more about him? I dont care if it eats a few snails here and there, but i DO care if he is going to munch on my coraline algae....

can either of you back up that information? I have been having trouble locating a lot of information on these critters... i have read they get that large, some species anyway, but other than that and their appetite for slow moving crabs, fish and snails, i have not located much. i did find out that they move corals around and rocks as well to make there 'den' and have witnessed this-- at least the morning after, rocks are pilled up arouind where he hides out. never actually saw him do it. as for "knowing 100%" that they don't eat soft corals, i don't think that there is anything in this hobby we can know 100%. I have seen too many critters do things they just CANT do to say that anything id for certain :)
