Yeah we all are saying the same thing. T3, thanks for the back up. I was going through this think some were saying I was wrong, then realized they were talking about the LFS.
At least JeepMomma has learned quickly to doubt what this LFS said. I literally poured money into my tank before I found this board and stopped listening to the LFS.

and 100% agree on the lfs. I think every man, woman, & child entering the Country, either by border or womb, should have to sign a waiver confirming that they have hereby been advised

Well thanks all! Ya i have been a repeated customer since well its the only lfs in our area plus i never knew about this site and no one of my friends have fish tanks so i couldn't get any advice so i believed them let me tell you when we first got in this hobby the lfs loved us we were gullible and spent lots and lots and lots of money there till i was looking up a fish on Google and it came to this site and i was sweet!!!!!!!! So thanks all you guys and gals!

What about using fresh spring water the mixing with salt ? Would that work ? Or better Ocean water.
