book recommendation

OK guys here's the deal, I've been surfing for a bit, and I'm ready to read a book on salt water aquariums. I want to do a reef tank, so please recommend books on that part of salt water aquariums.
Now I'm no dumbass but I'm not majoring in biology either so please recommend something that is not too high powered.
Let the recommendations begin.

One that I really liked when I first started was:
The New Marine Aquarium: Step-by-Step Setup & Stocking Guide by Michael S. Paletta.
I found it a very good place to start with good info and charts/guides.

I'll second the first two recommendations and also suggest "The Conscientious Marine Aquarist" as another good, basic book.
I see one of your interests listed is aquaculture. A good book in that genre is Anthony Calfo's "Book of Coral Propagation". It discusses coral propagation techniques, but also goes in depth describing corals farms and their equipment. A lot of what's discussed can even be applied to hobby-sized systems.

yes thank you I am interested in aquaculture bc it is environmentally friendly. I'm not some tree hugger but I would like to build a tank has almost nothing ripped out of the ocean if at all possible. I'll be checking the library for that book this week.
