Free, well basically free, Book to anyone interasted. It is, Natural Reef Aquariums by John H. Tullock.
It is an excelent book for a beginer. A must have if your just starting out.
It is free, you pay shipping, To anyone who is new to the hobby.. I have read it front to back and side to side so, I've gotten all I can from it..
PLEASE ONLY REPLY IF YOU NEED THIS BOOK!!!!!!
It will help you in setup and maintance of the aquarium and also in understanding the chemistry in your tank.
Shipping will be around 7$...

Just noticed that both of you are in the tidewater area. I am delivering my 180 there this weekend to a lady who purchased it.
Any good stores in the Norfolk area I should visit while I am there?

Wamp, I believe you are delivering your 180 to a friend of mine, Sue. She is a wonderful lady and is sooo excited to get the new setup. I had offered to help her with the move if it could have been done before this weekend... but I am returning to JMU in Harrisonburg, VA this afternoon, so I think she is on her own. I hope all goes well. I am sure I will hear all about it. As for the LFS here, the only really good one is on Holland Rd. in Virginia Beach, about 40 - 45 mins from Sue's home... Animal Jungle. They have a huge selection of saltwater critters and drygoods, but tend to be a bit pricey. It is worth a look, IMO. Hope everything goes well this weekend. Tell Sue hello for me. Goodnight man.

Peanut where do you live? I'm off Battlefield Blvd in Chesapeake are you close?
I'm beginning saltwater and need some help now and then. Would be great if I had a few people close to me that had tanks and were able to offer assistance/advice from time to time rather than be buggin' the Sh*t out of the guys at Animal Jungle and Fish Safari.

Chuck, I am just off of Centerville Tnpk, about 5 miles from Hickory High School... so yeah, you are close. 168 is only called Battlefield from the NC line up to where it meets Campostella Rd.... so that means you are no more than 20 minutes from me... cool! Unfortunately, I won't really be around to help you much. I am moving back up to James Madison University this afternoon for the rest of the year. But please, feel free to email me or whatever and I'll do my best to help you out when I'm home from time to time. Take it easy man.

I'm in Portsmouth, across the river from Norfolk. As for the good stores in the area, I would mention Fish Safari over on Princess Anne Rd. in Va Bch. Not too far from Animal Jungle. The owner is a marine biologist named Leroy. Smaller than AJ, but I think his stock is in better shape. FS only deals in fish, AJ has everything.
I would like a shot at the book when everybodys done with it...:D

I know this is probably useless, but I would love to have the book. What type of payment would you like? I would be willing to pay more than the 7 dollars. I am fairly new to this hobby and am trying to get my hands on any books I can find.

I will be down there saturday but have no clue on time or even how long I will be there. I will not be there long. Just long enough to pipe in the tank and get water in it and show her how to work everything. It's too bad my job does not let me stay anyhere...
