Can anyone recomend good coral books??? Just gettin into the coral part of the hobby, and i got a lot to learn!!

Aquarium corals by Eric Borneman. It is a great book and covers everything you will need to know. There is a section with lots of pics for identification that covers pretty much any coral you will come across in this hobby. Its a little pricey but its well worth it.

Head and shoulders above the other books. Has very current information also.

If so, good! I bought it b/c its the same line of books as Dr. Friener's book.

That Julian Sprung book I just got from Massachusetts library system. Nice pictures but hardly anything about husbandry. For husbandry it has little symbols meaning what they eat, how much light, flow, and a little pic of a reef and placement. But besides these little symbols, there is not anything in the book about how to care for corals. It's mostly identification of species and nice pictures.
No Zoanthids in the book.
It's a good book for what it says on the cover, "A Quick Ref. Guide". That's just not what I need right now.
