boring cleaner shrimp

I have had a new cleaner shrimp for two weeks. It always stays near the top in the pumps/heater area.
I find it boring = I'd like to see it more exploring/adventurous.... flirting with my yellow tang (like one shrimp that I have kept before for close to two years!).
Is it wise to take the shrimp and displace it to another location??

It will go where it feels is the best place for it no matter where you place it. You may be able to entice it to like another spot better with food.

Maybe by your pump and heater is the only place in the tank it feels safe? If you have your rocks stacked in a way that you create multiple caves, it may wonder around to the different caves in your tank (mine does this).
