Bought a piece of liverock guess what came out!

Last night I bought a 4lbs piece of LR to fill in a part of my tank. Rock was wrapped in wet newspaper...drove 20 minutes home, unwrapped rock and a 3"+ Banded Watchman Shrimpgoby was laying on the rock almost lifeless.
Waved it back and forth in the water and it is doing great now.
In addition 5 bumble Bee snails, tiger cowrie and astria star found their way out. Not a bad find but never thought I find a fish alive! Only problem i was getting ready to buy a Yellow Watchman... I heard 2 shrimpgolbies don't get along!
Look later today...maybe will find something else! (Rock came from a display tank)

Nice find indeed...

If you don't want him, just take him in to another lfs and do a trade for the Yellow you wanted.

At my local fish store they sold mE a peice of live rock but they and I didn't know it had a small panther grouper in it

I was setting up my first tank and bought about 25 pounds of lr from my lfs, brought it home and to my surprise I found a small hippo tang laying dead in the styrofoam box. I still tried to revive it by floating it because I heard that hippo tangs will play dead. The lfs is about 2 minutes from my house, to bad I stopped at the grocery store on the way home. (poor fish)
