the first and third picture in the first post make quite the comparison shot dont they? there are also about 50 loos polyps that I just dumped into my frag tank to blow around and stick wherever they want to.

anyone notice all the little black particles stuck throughout the algae growth on my frag rack?
thats what happens when you dont rinse carbon well enough then accidently dump it all into your sump. you should see my sand. my frag tank looks like it has the black plauge.

I have loose polyps floating around too. So they will eventually find a home? I caught 2
of them and siliconed them to a piece of rubble.

I just call them that because they are so long. the only polyps I've seen form like those are formed are snake polyps they dont mat like other zoas they just shoot out a little Tiny runner so the base looks like web instead of a mat. when I pick up a rock and shake it a bunch of the polyps fall right off the rock. I have this little zoa garden in the bottom of my frag tank now from all the loose polyps.
