Hey Mike I live in the east bay area, so if your out my way I would be glad to help you out with anything, also 72g gives you better water stability, and more room under your stand for refugiums, or sumps. Just my .02

east bay area. like where? hehe how far from San fransisco or San jose cause im in the middle of those two. called San Mateo
but this is the tank i wanna get. now every1 has me thinking of 72g ahaha but does it look nice?

Agreed, I would not be very happy with my tank if I didn't know I would be upgrading it some day. If you are going to spend the money on the 46 I just think you would be happier spending a little more on the 72, your water will be more stable, you will be able to keep more livestock and as said you will have more room under the stand. JMO

Tank and stand look nice but the canopy is not big enough for the type of lighting you will want for a reef.

if i was gonna get a 72g bow front.
would i want to get 2 built in overflos or just one?
and im gonna have a refugium.
i can have the 2 overflos pvc pipe together and then go to refugium. would it be better or just keep it to one?
