Boxfish/cowfish

I saw a boxfish/cowfish that was white and looked like a octigon with eyes.. Seemed as big as a rubber ball, a little bigger than a golf ball. Anyone know what species? Throw a picture on this thread and I'll take a look..

I found it. Helmet Cowfish also known as the camel cowfish... Any info would be nice*

I've heard that they can be hard to keep, is that true? Also, Sammy, what size tank did you keep it in? My wife wants one of these really bad.

i thought you were talking to me cause my name is also Sam.. The guy at the store said they could live by themselves in a 29 gallon tank and they don't get bigger than your fist. I want to get one and put it in my 55 gallon tank and a snowflake eeel... He said it would be fine. Cool fish

I'll take the dive after I get my puffer in the tank... I have heard that the lengths of fish in tanks is over-estimated... I learned this when my freshwater fish didn't grow nearly as long as petsmart told me... The sad thing is I am going to be getting all my fish at *****

is there anything else that looks like a Helmet Cowfish that does not get so big----what a neat fish----thanks----CARNUT

i have that cowfish in my 55 gallon and he has been fine for like 4months so far
