I'm hoping for a puppy....you don't have to worry about college funds, getting a drivers license, you can make SURE that they don't come home pregnant, and you can leave them home alone and nobody thinks you are a horrible parent!!!
Seriously though...I would hope for "happy and healthy", 10 fingers, 10 toes, 2 eyes, and a nose. My wife and I tried for 6 years and weren't lucky enough to have children....she went through absolute HE77 in our attempts (I can explain if you would like....surgeries, shots, LOTS of time off work, ups, downs, doctor's visit after doctor's visit...not fun!). If these experiences taught me anything, it was that women are MUCH stronger than men AND that children are truly a blessing....BUT...so are my little furry children. Congratulations on your little munchkin....
I'm sure the baby isn't a puppy. We already have a puppy and she's spoiled rotten.
I'm with you on this one. It doesn't matter to me whether the baby is a boy or girl personally. It's always nice to hope for happy and healthy. We love our children regardless. I can understand and appreciate all the efforts in conceiving. I was told back in 2005 that I would never have any more children so even having my 2 yr old daughter is a blessing. This baby is an added blessing. After getting news like that I've learned to take the time to appreciate the miracle and beauty of being pregnant. It's amazing feeling the baby move inside. Knowing that he or she is doing just fine. I definitely don't take it for granted.
My husband is wanting a girl. He's deadset that this baby is Madeline Rose.
