Hi,
I have a Green Brain Coral and I want to get another Brain Coral.Would a lobo Brain be a good type of brain? Are they hardy? Also are Hammer Corals a hardy coral?

In our reef we have 2 lobos, a favia, and a green open brain. All seem to be very hardy. We haven't had a problem with any except one lobo which we think got damaged when we were combining tanks. As for a hammer they are pretty hardy too. We have a branching hammer and a wall hammer which are beautiful. The brains and hammers all like light. :D

I have several brains and a lobo, and a hammer. They are all pretty hardy. Just have to keep them fed and good light. The one thing to watch for in the hammers is the sweeper tentacles. They will send them out if another coral is too close. Just give the hammer plenty of room and they will co-exist just fine. :D

Hammers are nice additions to any tank.I made the suggestion to someone else and I'll do the same for you.Look into a branching hammer.Me and Chevron Tang have 4 types of brains, a hammer and a big branching hammer.Either one is hardy and beautiful.Hammers are aggressive so it will need room.My branching hammer is'nt but I would'nt go on that alone
Brians are hardy but they to love light and need alot of it.Lobo's are very pretty and like most brains great addtions. They love to eat to.Check em' out after lights out.
