Brain Recovery!

Hello,
I was at the LFS today and one of the employees gave me a free brain coral. He said it's not doing well, but if I wanted it I could have it. It's floating in the bag right now. I'll try and get pics later. Anything you guys suggest for trying to revive it? Or anything I should be careful about before adding it to the population?

If anyone could help me out. I see a couple VERY small what look like snails on it. Should I remove them before adding the coral to the tank?

Umm... Well, too small for a good pic (just tried). White shell, looks like a Cerith to be honest with you. There's one that's a bit bigger, looks sorta like Nerite or a spotted Astrea? Not sure...

There may be a possibility that it is a limpet. I don't know much about them. I hear that some are good and some are bad.
Maybe Bangguy will chime in for you.

I googled limpets. From the info they seem like algae eaters, however from the pics.. I'm not sure that's what I'm looking at. Their shells look rough, this one is fairly smooth if that helps anyone
