Does anyone have any pictures of their brain corals?I am thinking about getting a brain coral or 2,and I want to see some pics of your guys.This would be highly appreciated

at the time the picture was taken phoenix 14k 250w w/ 130w pc actinics. the aqualight pro fixture. its all the way at the bottom of my tank, kinda tucked in a cave. i just got a xm 20k about 3 weeks ago.

Those are cool brains.My lfs has one that is blue that looks like a goblet brain.Does anyone know what that is?

Can brain corals be placed anywhere in the tank as far as sand or rocks?

I heard that they can be placed almost anywhere.But I would wait for another opinion as well.

I have had mine both in the rocks and now on the sand. If in the rocks I think they like a little shade.

They will do fine on either rock or sand. Just be sure to securely attach it to a rock if you choose to do so. Otherwise, it may tip over on itself. The weight of it can damage the flesh and kill the coral.
