Brand New 180G Tank

Hello I am new to the forums here.
My fiancee and I just bought a new tank set up to consolodate two 75 G tanks and I am having problems with my protein skimmer. Everything is new and it is rated for 220G. It is filling the chamber with foam on the lowest setting. Very frustrating! Any Ideas?

New skimmers just need to be broken-in. Give it a few weeks.

Give it a Few weeks I the same problem.- If it is the skimmer I am thinking of the Coralife Super Skimmer 220 once broken in you will be amazed at the quaility of skimate that beauty will make.- My wife who is Pregnant and can not stand a strong smell has resorted to having an air freshner on top of the tank to try and keep the odor down says it helps I can not tell the differance instand of skimate I am smelling lilacs.
