I am looking on ---- at some parts to set up my new sw tank, and I keep seeing this brand JEBO with inexpensive equipment (never heard of it). Is it trustworthy and/or worth the risk?

You get what you pay for alot of times in this hobby.....Some equipment is just worth spending the extra cash if it comes down to good service and warranty

I would be weary of buying electric products without UL listings otherwise I couldn't say other than most of their products are knock offs (which is fine if they work and quality is acceptable).

Thats JBJ not Jebo. JBJ actually makes quality lighting, chillers and aqaurium equipment except for the cracking nano's (which they supposedly fixed).

JEBO is a cheap chinese manufact of cloned equipment. SOme is good some is crap, and there does not seem to be any kind of quality control as the quality varies like the weather. Personally I tend to view Jebo as cheap junk, that I am not willing to plunk my hard earned money down on just to get some piece of needed equippment, as cheap equipment that doe snot last or do as promised is not a good deal no matter what the price.....
Their bulbs leave a lot to be desired. They are far from being in the proper temp range adn even two or three of the same bulb seems to burn different colors.......once again lack of quality is the big problem.

That JBJ Nano tank issue may not be fixed. My 6 gallon that I use for quarantine of new fish craked about 2 weeks ago in the top right corner, it just popped real loud. JBJ would not replace it for me but my LFS which is a saltwater only store replaced it right away and apoligized. Some LSWFS (local salt water fish stores?) are pretty good.
Other then that cracking problem I reall like the looks of this tank.

Jebo is Chinese, and believe me that can go either way. The potential is there for a great product, but you have to be careful. I deal with China on a regular basis and QC is entirely in the hands of the importer. It's the same for any chinese product, if the guy importing goods for sale in the US takes resposibility for QC and factory inspections you can get a great product. If the importer justs wants to make a buck, you will most likely get crap passed on to you.
