Brandons 125G Tank Build Thread

Nice reply, but....honestly they are pretty much the same thing. Maybe we could just call them "sumps" lol. If you build one, then you can put anything you want in it of course. I have been thinking of building one with the scrubber idea at the end of it. No reason you couldn't incorporate one of those directly into your sump.

They are sumps. But calling them the same thing to me is like saying a tang is the same thing as a clown because they are both fish. Two different methods for trying to achieve the same results. But when you say wet/dry I think most folks would believe that you're refering to a trickle filter. JMO. And yes you can incorportate a ATS in a sump, many people have done it, infact there is a thread here were about 3 members just built them into their sump systems recently with pictures.
