How can you breed velvet damsels? What are some good breeding web sites/books. How many fish can I put in a 38 gallon tank I want fish that are 1-2 inches long.

You really can't put too many fish in that size tank...I'd say 4-5. And damselfish are highly territorial, active fish. In a small tank they will get on each others nerves and likely kill each other off. In a tank that size, you best go with the "community tank" concept, to avoid agressiveness with same species fish.
